Who We Are
The Church of Christ at McGuffey Road is comprised of a body of believers once separated by sin, but now saved by the blood of Jesus Christ. It makes a difference what you believe. You cannot afford to be mistaken! We believe we are the church that you can read about in the Bible, through the Word of God. We are Christians (Acts 11:26). We follow the pattern of the New Testament teachings and examples for the organization, work, and worship of the church. The Bible gives us Gods way of salvation, and Gods way of worship. We welcome you to visit with us as our honored guest.
Our Purpose
McGuffey Road Church of Christ is a body of Christians that meet weekly for worship and fellowship. Our goal is to evangelize the city of Youngstown with the word of God (Matthew 28:19-20). We are nondenominational. The head of the church is none other than Jesus Christ himself (Ephesians 1:22-23). The congregation is comprised of believers, and it is the Word of God that unites us in one faith (Ephesians 4:3-6). We follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and his apostles’ inspired writings of the New Testament, not the uninspired teachings of men. We are Christians only with no denominational affiliation.
