Eddie L. Dunlap, Jr. | Evangelist
Eddie is currently the minister of the McGuffey Road Church of Christ, Youngstown, OH. He has been involved in full-time ministry for more than thirty years, having served Churches of Christ in Ohio and Kentucky. He has preached the gospel of Christ nationally in gospel meetings, revivals, lectureships, youth conferences, workshops, and seminars, and has preached internationally in Jamaica, Mexico, Fiji, Ghana, and Ecuador. He began serving as minister of McGuffey Road Church of Christ, in Youngstown, Ohio in March of 2019, whereby he commutes every week from North Olmsted, OH.
Bro. Dunlap became an ordained minister in Cleveland, OH in 1992. He became engaged in intensive theological understanding, being knowledgeable of the Bible and prayerful communication with God. He has a strong working knowledge of scripture for worship, delivering sermons to the McGuffey Road Church of Christ congregation on a weekly basis, counsel, leadership, ceremonial, and teaching. In addition to educating others about religion, Bro. Dunlap serves as a moral leader, adviser, mentor and intercessor to other ministers and members of leadership. He leads the congregation in helping the needy through community services and facilitates administrative activities by assisting in the setting of church financial and religious goals for optimal achievement.
He holds bachelor’s degrees in Construction Engineering Technology and Architectural Engineering graduating from the state of Montana. He advanced his biblical studies at the School of Religious Studies in North Little Rock, AR and furthered his religious studies at Kent State College, Ohio. He holds certifications in The Fishers of Men Ministry and the Search for the Truth. Bro. Dunlap has authored New Convert curriculum and does (has) serve as a Board Member on numerous community organizations.
Bro. Dunlap is a catalyst for positive change through his dedication to teaching the scriptures. Above, all Bro. Dunlap is a visionary and organizer spearheading multiple projects for the Churches of Christ. He is dedicated to serving the ministry, his congregation, and the community.
Bro. Dunlap is married to his wonderful wife, Machele who labors beside him. They reside in North Olmsted, Oh.
Wesley O. Thompson Sr.
As a member of Leadership, Bro. Wesley is a former Minster of the Church of Christ and an active leader with his primary focus being benevolence. He also serves as the youth teacher. He attended the Nashville Christian Institute in Nashville, TN. Many years ago, he served in the Military – U.S. Navy.
Bro. Wesley held multiple secular jobs, working with the Ohio Bell (Ameritech) and New England Bell, performing as a Maintenance Technician, and Supervisor.
Anthony L. McCray
Anthony grew up in Youngstown and was added to the Lord’s Church in 2005. He attended Youngstown State University graduating with an associate degree in Applied Science in addition to attending TDDS Technical Institute receiving a Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
Anthony’s primary focus is Finance. He manages the finances of the church along with other duties and teaches Sunday morning Bible class.
Linda Ballard | Administrative Assistant
Sis. Linda has served as Administrative Assistant since January 2017. She formerly served as Secretary in the late 1970’s. Linda retired from her professional job in 2018, working as a secretary for St. Elizabeth Mercy Hospital in Youngstown for sixteen years.
As Administrative Assistant, Linda manages all secretarial matters for the church, inclusive of answering calls, designing materials, making copies, and managing leadership correspondence.
Sis. Linda has been a member of the Lord’s church for over 40 years.
